Balanced Boulder

During our drive along the Catalina Highway we stopped at Chihuahua Pine Picnic Area. We found this balanced boulder during our exploring.

Cemetery Bird

We stopped by an old cemetery today and I came across this bird statue over one of the graves. I thought it was wonderful.

Opuntia

During my walk today I came across this prickly pear cactus. I was amazed that it was so perfect - no brown spots, no animal bites.

Cemetery Snow

I stopped by the Santa Fe National Cemetery today after work. I thought the gravestones looked wonderful surrounded by snow.

Santa Fe Southern Railroad

I took a walk today in the railyard. The Santa Fe Southern Railroad train that goes between Santa Fe and Lamy was sitting at the depot. I liked the way it looked with the clouds and blue sky above it.

Daisy in the Snow

Today Daisy kept running around in the back of the house. I wasn't sure if she was just playing around in the snow or if she was checking for coyotes.

The Snow Continues

It snowed again last night and this morning. The weather reports state that this will probably continue until Thursday. Here is a picture of our peach tree with its winter coat.
