A Change in Plans

Well, I guess you have noticed that I haven't posted a picture in a while. My camera has been giving me trouble. I was having difficulty getting focused pictures. For some reason the camera would only focus at certain distances. So I wasn't getting any good pictures. Then one day the lens started acting up. It would extend out but it wasn't consistent and sometimes it wouldn't extend all the way. And then it just got stuck and wouldn't do anything. I luckily had a warranty so I took it in and they are working on fixing it. But I have been out of a camera for about a week now and for a week before that I wasn't getting any good pictures. So since I don't have a camera I haven't been able to do my picture every day and I have made a decision. I won't be publishing a picture every day any more. The plans have changed and I will now just publish pictures when I feel I have a good one. Hopefully I will have the camera back in the next few days. I hope you will check back soon to see the pictures I am taking. Thanks!

Lady with Pike

I visited Museum Hill today. I took quite a few pictures of sculptures. I liked this one by Bob Haozous. He has other sculptures around town.

Rock Cairn

I came across this rock cairn during a walk today. I thought it was pretty elaborate but also it really marked the trail well.

Bike Parts Sculpture

This sculpture is made entirely from old bike parts. It was made by Joe Forrest Sackett. He does art work using recycled materials.
